A University of Arkansas at Little Rock women’s soccer player has been named to the Sun Belt Conference 2017 All-Tournament Team.
Jacklyn Purvine, a junior midfielder from Moore, Oklahoma, was the lone Trojans player given the honors along with four Coastal Carolina players, five South Alabama players, and one Georgia Southern player.
In the opening round of the tournament against Arkansas State, Purvine led the Trojans with five shots towards net with two of them being shots on goal. She was a facilitator out of the midfield that set up teammates with many opportunities to score.
Between the first round matchup and the semifinal matchup versus South Alabama, Purvine was on the field for 184 out of the 200 minutes played. This was Purvine’s first All-Tournament award.
