A University of Arkansas at Little Rock student will be featured in the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College’s Ten-Minute Play Showcase on Thursday, March 1.
Rosalinda Roper, an international studies and political science double major, will showcase her play, Quinceanera, during the event. The piece will depict the life of a family living in Mexico who are learning to cope with the long-term absence of a parent who left to work in the United States.
The event will kick off at 7 p.m. in the Center for Humanities and Arts building on the Pulaski Tech campus. Performances will feature enactments of work written and directed by the special guests.
The cost of attendance is $10 for students and military personnel and $20 for the general public.
This event is co-sponsored by the ACANSA Festival and Hilary Trudell, founder of the Yarn and director of local programming with the Clinton School for Public Service.
