ASBTDC continues to host small business webinars

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, based at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, is offering several no-cost webinars to help business owners respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. 

Created in response to COVID-19, the “Keep Calm and Small Business On” webinar series began March 19. Recordings of past programs in the series are available on YouTube at tinyurl.com/vtnk4ns. Links to register for each program are available at asbtdc.org/asbtdc-events.

The upcoming webinars include: 

  • “Time Management Strategies to Control the Busy of Life” – 2 p.m. June 23 
    Do you feel overwhelmed? Like you haven’t got any work done? In this webinar, learn tips on how to improve your time management and daily productivity. Speaker: Allyson Lewis, CEO, and director of corporate training and leadership development
  • “Small Talk: Human Resources” – 6 p.m. June 23  
    Local human resources professionals will focus on three common HR-related topics that businesses struggle with.s. Speakers: Glenda Caton of Caton Consulting; Dr. Karen Leonard of UA Little Rock College of Business; and Audrina Lange of U.S Department of Labor.
  • “Building a Resilient Supply Chain.” – 10 a.m., July 1 

Learn tips and strategies your small business can implement to avoid major disruption to your supply chain. Speaker: Dr. Naeem Bajwa, Department of Management, UA Little Rock
