UA Little Rock Launches Climb a Peak a Day Challenge

UA Little Rock is inviting students and employees to participate in a new summer fitness challenge from July 19 to Aug. 27.

During the Climb a Peak a Day Challenge, participants try to accumulate enough steps per day to climb from the shortest to the ninth tallest summits in the country.

The challenge begins with the goal of walking 3.720 steps per day during the first week. Each week, participants will receive a reminder to report steps along with information on the peak of the week and healthy tips.

UA Little Rock employees and students may register for the challenge at this link. The first 50 people to register will receive a limited edition water bottle. There will also be weekly prize drawings and a grand prize drawing at the end of the challenge.
