Will Orientation be in person?


New Student Orientation is now an online experience. You can sign up now at ualr.edu/newstudents. There is no cost to attend online orientation.


What does online orientation look like?


When you sign up for orientation, you will complete a brief questionnaire, to be used by your advisor to personalize your advising experience.

Tours are now virtual! Join us as we guide you through our beautiful campus.

Is Orientation mandatory?

For new freshman students, registration for orientation is the first step to registering for courses. Once you have registered and watched the Blackboard courses, your Advisor will contact you about registering for courses.

For new transfer students, orientation is not mandatory, but is the first step to understanding campus culture, connecting with other students and networking with faculty and staff. Completing orientation will best prepare you to be successful at UA Little Rock. For more information, click here.


When can I come to campus?


As changes develop with COVID 19, we are working to make sure campus is healthy and safe. Follow our university website about COVID 19 for the latest updates.

Who should I contact if I need special accommodations?


If students or family members require special accommodations for orientation, please contact the Disability Resource Center on campus. The DRC is currently providing services remotely. Please call 501-569-3143 to speak to a representative or email disability@ualr.edu.

I am a Freshman taking summer courses, do I still have to attend Orientation?


Orientation will help you connect with campus resources and other opportunities to stay ahead in your educational career. For more information about registering for orientation, click here.

If you are interested in testing out of a course or would like to set up an admissions test,certification/licensure exam, credit by examination or placement/proficiency exam, please contact Testing Services.
