Please review the<a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/about\/campus\/\"> map of campus<\/a> for parking and directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-your-parking-pass\">Your Parking Pass<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students and employees who wish to park a vehicle on campus must first register their vehicle with the UA Little Rock Police Department. To register your vehicle, you will need to know your\u00a0Workday ID number (WDID#)\u00a0make,\u00a0model, color of your car, and\u00a0license plate number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can get your parking permit online at <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.t2hosted.com\/\">Parking Permits Online.<\/a> For questions or concerns, contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/safety\/home\/campus-parking\/\">University Police<\/a> at 501-916-3400 or <a href=\"mailto:publicsafety@ualr.edu\">publicsafety@ualr.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-your-trojan-id\">Your Trojan ID<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Carry your Trojan ID when you are on campus. The card is the property of UA Little Rock and must be surrendered upon request. To get your Trojan ID, visit the Information Center, located on the first floor of the Donaghey Student Center (DSC) directly across from the Bookstore. There is no fee to obtain your first card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use your card in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As your main identification on campus as a student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To access the DSC Fitness Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To check out books and resources at the Ottenheimer Library circulation desk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a declining balance card. You can deposit money on the card and use it at any <a title=\"Dining Services\" href=\"https:\/\/ualr.sodexomyway.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dining Services<\/a> vendor (office located in the DSC 117)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the south entrance on Campus Drive from Asher Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to Residence Hall <em>(if living on campus)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Park in no-fee parking lots (<a title=\"Parking Map\" href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/about\/campus\/\">Parking Map)<\/a> designated as ID required areas. Reserved parking lots are fee-based and managed through <a title=\"Public Safety\" href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/safety\/\">Public Safety<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Students must be registered for classes prior<\/strong> to making their first Trojan ID. For questions, contact DSC Administration at 501-916-3362 or <a href=\"mailto:dsc@ualr.edu\">dsc@ualr.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-where-to-park\">Where to Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-parking-garage\">Parking Garage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors may park in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/about\/campus\/\">parking garage<\/a> for $1, located near the Donaghey Student Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-metered-parking-lots\">Metered Parking Lots<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors may park in any of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/about\/files\/2013\/11\/2017CAMPUSMAP_parking.jpg\">metered parking lots<\/a>. The fee for parking in the meter lots is $1 per hour using coins or, if paying by credit card it is $3 minimum for two hours and additional hours may be added at $1 per hour at initial point of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jack-stephens-center\">Jack Stephens Center<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors may park in the Jack Stephens Center parking lot at no charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-university-plaza\">University Plaza<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors may park in the University Plaza parking lot at no charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rock-region-metro-bus\">Rock Region METRO Bus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to a partnership with the Rock Region METRO, UA Little Rock employees and students are able to ride the bus transit for free, using the Trojans U-Pass. Once you leave Orientation, you will have your Trojan ID card that will allow you to use the Rock Region METRO Bus for free. You will be advised in the advising center of one of these colleges. You will be <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/advising\/new-trojans\/\">advised<\/a> in the advising center of one of the academic colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will <strong>NOT<\/strong> be able to register for classes until:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They have\u00a0<strong>completed<\/strong>\u00a0their onboarding in Workday Student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They have met with their advisors, and the advising flags have been lifted from their account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>**<em>The advising hold will not be removed from your account until you have met with your academic advisor. We are excited for you to start your journey as a Trojan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-orientation-for-2023\">Orientation for 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>New Student Orientation for 2023 has two parts. Both will help you get ready for the upcoming semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-part-1\">Part 1:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The first part<\/strong> <strong>must be completed online through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.go2orientation.com\/learn\/\">Go2 Orientation<\/a>.<\/strong> You can access it by logging in with your UA Little Rock email address and password. Use this <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/newstudents\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/219\/2021\/03\/NSO-steps-flyer-clean.pdf\">step by step guide<\/a> to login. If you have trouble, call 501-916-3000 or email <a href=\"mailto:newstudents@ualr.edu\">newstudents@ualr.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-part-2\">Part 2:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The second part of orientation is held in person at UA Little Rock. <\/strong>We invite you to join us on either June 9, June 30, or July 21. During the on-campus portion of Orientation, you will learn more about the university and different resources available to you as a student. RSVP for the event here beginning April 3. Check your email for updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure you’re ready to start classes by completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/newstudents\/new-student-checklist\/\">New Student Checklist<\/a>. Academic programs at UA Little Rock are grouped within three colleges. Someone from the advising center of one of these colleges will connect you with your advisor, and you will have a personalized, one-on one advising appointment. Look for an email or call from one of the advising centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-international-student-services\">International Student Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are an international student studying at UA Little Rock, you will have Orientation with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ualr.edu\/international\/\">Office of International Student Services<\/a>.
