The Nonprofit Leadership Studies Program is a competency-based minor and national certificate program designed to prepare and certify students to work for nonprofit organizations upon completion of a bachelor’s degree.
To complete the minor and earn the Nonprofit Leadership Studies certificate, students must demonstrate that they have acquired the Nonprofit Leadership Studies Program competencies. Students acquire these competencies through:
The program director determines if students have acquired these competencies based on a combination of grades, written work, field supervisor reports, and direct observation of student behavior.
