UA Little Rock Undergraduate and Graduate Student Research and Creative Works Expo

The UA Little Rock Student Research and Creative Works Expo offers an opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their research, scholarly, and creative endeavors in all disciplines. Any ongoing or completed research or creative work done by UA Little Rock students is eligible, including but not limited to thesis and dissertation projects, senior theses, honors projects, independent study projects, capstone projects, and course-related projects. Activities may be collaborative or individual.
The Expo will:
- Celebrate and showcase students’ involvement in scholarly research and creative productions campus-wide
- Provide a venue that supports UA Little Rock’s combined educational and research missions
- Allow students to exchange ideas and receive feedback in a professional setting
All research by UA Litlle Rock researchers involving human participants or animal subjects must be reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), or Institutional Animal Care and Use (IACUC) committees, respectively.
Format: Poster, digital, or artwork formats. If you select a poster presentation, 36 inch x 48 inch poster boards will be provided. A tri-fold board can be picked up at the Grad School (LIB528) one week prior to the event or the student is welcome to provide his or her own 36″x48″ tri-fold board for the poster display. Alternative formats such as performance or film clips must be requested in advance. Instructions to make a poster presentation.
Undergraduate Expo & Judging: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Participants can begin setting up from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Graduate Expo & Judging: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Participants can begin setting up from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Winners will be announced on April 18 in an award ceremony at 11:00 a.m. in SSC 104.
