High School Ethics Bowl

UALR is proud to host the first Arkansas High School Ethics Bowl on Saturday, April 13. Teams from Central High School and Episcopal Collegiate School, as well as UALR’s own Ethics Bowl team, will debate regarding contemporary ethical issues. The competition will be followed by a plenary address by Kim Garchar, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Kent State University.

The event will take place in the Reynolds Business Building on the UALR campus. It is free and open to the public.

  • 8:00 – breakfast
  • 9:00 – Round I
  • 10:00 – Round II
  • 11:00 – Round III
  • 12:00 – lunch
  • 1:00 – Plenary Address
  • 2:00 – Awards
