“The UALR Institute on Race and Ethnicity joins with the Islamic Center, Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission and others to condemn violence based on racial, ethnic, and religious bigotry.
We join with others throughout the United States and the world who are committed to building and celebrating communities of love and acceptance and that honor the principle that we are all equal in the eyes of the law and in the eyes of the Creator of all living things.
We cannot countenance the continuation of bigotry in our local, state, and national institutions and the use of violence to express that bigotry. We stand together to say no to division and yes to unity.”
