The Clinton School of Public Service, along with the Clinton Foundation will present “Letter From Birmingham Jail” from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center.
The public event is part of a worldwide celebration hosted by the Birmingham Public Library to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the day Martin Luther King Jr. began writing his famous letter.
Students from local elementary and middle schools and the Clinton School will read parts from King’s famous letter. Similar events will take place simultaneously all over the country.
