Just Communities of Arkansas presents “In Our Own Voices”

Date: July 14-18, 2014 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Registration: Applications are available at all Central Arkansas Library locations and online at www.arkansasjustcommunities.org. The application deadline is July 1, 2014.

Just Communities of Arkansas is partnering with the Central Arkansas Libraries System to host a creative writing adventure for middle school students called “In Our Own Voices.” The program encourages middleschoolers to find their own voice and write about the following: Who they are, where they come from, and how they see the world.

The event is free and takes place July 14-18, 1 – 5pm, at the Hillary Clinton Library and Learning Center. All rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome to participate and share their voice.
