UALR to host 3rd annual high school Ethics Bowl

UALR Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Team to serve as ambassadors at 3rd annual High School Ethics Bowl.

Twelve teams from private and public high schools around the region will be participating. Moderators and judges are drawn from the campus community and the local community.

Our own Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Team members, currently one of the top 32 Ethics Bowl Teams in the United States, will be serve as ambassadors to the high school teams.

The event is open to the public.

Colin Schoonover will deliver a keynote speech, “Leading with Integrity,” at 1 p.m. Schoonover is a manager of engineering services and pipeline systems as part of the Asset Management and Engineering Group at ONE Gas, in Tulsa, OK.

He is a board member of the Oklahoma Business Ethics Foundation and he has served as a judge for regional and national intercollegiate ethics bowls in recent years.

The UALR Ethics Bowl Team is advancing to compete in the 19th Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl National Championship which will take place February 22, 2015, in Costa Mesa, California. Give a donation online to help them get to the national competition.
