Book Published on Lingering Effects of 1957 Little Rock Central High School Crisis

Ravi K. Perry, Ph.D., political science professor at Mississippi State University and D. LaRouth Perry, Ph.D., independent scholar, are the authors of “The Little Rock Crisis: What Desegregation Politics Says About Us.” Published by Palgrave McMillan, a division of St. Martin’s Press, The Little Rock Crisis  explores the impact of the 1957 school desegregation crisis on the lives of those who were closest to it, and the lives of those who live in the aftermath. Dr. Perry offers a thank you to the UALR Institute on Race and Ethnicity in the book’s acknowledgements.
