The City of Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Institute on Race and Ethnicity will officially launch the Little Rock Civil Rights History Tour App at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 in the UALR Student Services Center Auditorium.
Presenters include Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola, Institute Director Dr. John Kirk, as well as other dignitaries.
Months in the making, this app delves into the rich, diverse history of our Capital City and tells the stories of the many people, places and events that helped to shape Little Rock over the past two centuries.
This project was funded in part by a grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council and the Arkansas Department of Heritage.
