Amanda Whitley is a graduate student in the Public History program at UALR.
She is a member of the Freedom Riders commemoration planning committee, researching not only the Freedom Riders themselves, but the civil rights movement in Arkansas.
After graduation, Amanda hopes to have a career in collections management for a museum.
