The certificate is designed for sales professionals and their future employers who are looking for additional training in professional sales. The program is also available to any person admitted to UA Little Rock and does not have to be combined with any other degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The certificate courses combine academic rigor, role-play and experiential learning to develop the necessary skills and experience to succeed in sales. Includes examination of the environments of marketing decision making, marketing institutions and agencies, and marketing practices of organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 3353 Professional Selling<\/strong><br>\nAn examination of the requirements and responsibilities of professional sales reps, including knowledge and skill requirements, market development, preparation, effective sales communications, and customer relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 4351 Sales Management<\/strong><br>\nAdministration of the professional sales force. Includes recruitment, selection, training, organization, motivation, compensation, and control of sales staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 4355 Advanced Professional Selling<\/strong><br>\nAdvanced techniques of salesmanship, field application of selling techniques, improving communications skills. Students will complete a four-course sequence of sales and sales management courses. The sales minor program is supported by local and national firms who, not coincidentally, hire UA Little Rock graduates every year. <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.ualr.edu\/preview_program.php?catoid=20&amp;poid=5334&amp;returnto=2423\">Courses<\/a> are practical, hands-on, and taught by faculty who have B2B sales experience. Includes examination of the environments of marketing decision making, marketing institutions and agencies, and marketing practices of organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 3353 Professional Selling<\/strong><br>\nAn examination of the requirements and responsibilities of professional sales reps, including knowledge and skill requirements, market development, preparation, effective sales communications, and customer relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 4351 Sales Management<\/strong><br>\nAdministration of the professional sales force. Includes recruitment, selection, training, organization, motivation, compensation, and control of sales staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MKTG 4355 Advanced Professional Selling<\/strong><br>\nAdvanced techniques of salesmanship, field application of selling techniques, improving communications skills. Key focus is key account selling and relationship management. Problem solving as the basis of consultative selling.
