MidSOUTH Summer Conference for Integrated Behavioral Health Studies (MSSC)
June 8-10, 2016 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock
- Kevin Hines on “Cracked Not Broken…Surviving and Thriving After a Suicide Attempt,” about his suicide attempt by jumping off the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. Because of his advocacy for suicide prevention around the US, Kevin will receive a recognition award from President Barak Obama at the White House. Kevin will also discuss the documentary, The Bridge: Suicides on the Golden Gate Bridge, which will also be shown at the conference.

- Michael Mancino, MD, on “Medication Assisted Treatment of Opioid Dependence”
The MSSC will include three days of evidence-based, quality training offering 23.5 possible continuing education hours with a wonderful list of topics and speakers.
