Join us as we take a deeper look into more best practices for course development during our Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop. Attending this workshop will help online instructors gain new insights into creating inclusive, informative, and meaningful learning content to engage student learning experiences.
May 22, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and May 24, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This workshop is offered through UALR’s Scholarly Technology and Resources Department (STaR) and is facilitated by Sean Orme, an Instructional Designer in STaR and a certified APPQMR workshop facilitator. This workshop is required for anyone wishing to work with STaR instructional designers in the development of an online course that will go through the official QM certification process.
Anyone successfully completing both days of the workshop will receive an official certificate from Quality Matters and will be eligible to complete the QM Reviewer training course through QM and become an official QM reviewer. The QM Reviewer training course is available through the QM website, but is not currently facilitated through STaR or eLearning. More information on becoming an official QM reviewer can be found here: QM Peer Review Course.
