Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop,
9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., July 23rd-24th
Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized, research-based set of standards for online and hybrid courses. The Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is a three and a half hour, two-day workshop that goes into detail about what QM is, what the standards are, and how they are applied to courses. A certified facilitator leads the APPQMR workshops on the UALR campus, and participants receive an official certificate of completion from Quality Matters.
This workshop is the first step for faculty who are interested developing a new online course with an UA-Little Rock instructional designer. Additionally, this is also the first step in becoming certified QM Reviewer. After completing the APPQMR workshop, faculty are eligible to complete the QM Reviewer certification course (offered directly from Quality Matters) and become paid consultants (as QM Reviewers) on courses offered by other institutions.
We are proud to offer this tremendous professional development opportunity at no cost to UA-Little Rock faculty members.
Please register for this two-day event at Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop.
