Kaltura Media Space update coming March 1

An update to the Kaltura Media Space will bring a new, modern look and feel to the user interface beginning March 1st.

The update restyles the pages used to upload and share video content within Blackboard — like My Media and the Course Gallery — and does not affect the core functionality of the tool.

To get a preview of the new design, you can check out some of the video tutorials for the new Media Space available on the Kaltura website.

Available to all users at UA Little Rock with a Blackboard account, Kaltura is a media service offering numerous streaming solutions to campus, including the ability to record and share video content from within the Blackboard course environment.

This update is one of many planned improvements to the service, and will bring consistency between the design of the user interface and other newly-designed tools like Kaltura Capture screen recording tool announced last fall.

If you have questions about Kaltura at UA Little Rock, please contact the office of Scholarly Technology and Resources.
