The Office of Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR) would like to congratulate Heba Sadaka for her diligence and dedication in working to receive Quality Matters (QM) course certification for NURS 3220 Health Assessment I. A formal review of her course indicated QM standards for course design were met. QM certified courses are listed in QM’s national database of certified courses and each receives a QM seal to display within the course.
Heba Sadaka, MSN, BSN, RN, CNE began her nursing career in Alexandria, Egypt, prior to moving to North America. She obtained her BSN in 1993 from Alexandria University, Egypt, and her Masters in Nursing Education-Acute Adult-Gerontology in 2010 from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She joined the University of Arkansas at Little Rock faculty in 2017. She has taught face to face, clinical, inter-professional, simulation, and online courses.
Mrs. Sadaka enjoys teaching and inspiring the next generation of nurses. She currently coordinates and teaches Leadership and Management. Her research interests include inter-professional education, Cardiovascular Care, Older Adults Care, Quality Improvement, Patient Engagement, Patient Safety, Nurses Self-Compassion, and Cyber-Security Education.
Mrs. Sadaka also acknowledged her appreciation for the QM and STaR team for their involvement in her QM certification process. She mentioned they were “very helpful and quick to respond when needed”. This led to the maximum score on the QM certification for the Health Assessment I NURS 3220 course.
