The Sustainability Committee holds a number of annual competitions to promote the principles of sustainability and to encourage sustainable behavior on the UA Little Rock campus. For past winners, visit our Research page.

The UA Little Rock Sustainability Committee is pleased to announce a call for innovative proposals that will develop, enable, and promote principles of sustainability on the UA Little Rock campus.

Eligibility
All full-time faculty, part-time faculty, staff, and students are eligible to apply. Individual or collaborative proposals will be accepted.

Deadline For Submission
Monday, April 8, 2019

Instructions
Please prepare an up to three-page proposal that includes the following:
• Project Title
• Names of Principal Investigator and/or Co-Investigators
• Project Description (two pages max), including a specific plan to share project results with the UA Little Rock campus community
• Funding Request/Justification (one page max)

Award Information
The maximum award amount is $2,500, though proposals requesting lesser amounts are invited and encouraged. The total number of awards given will be determined by the Sustainability Grant Committee based upon available funds at the time of review. Recipients will receive award funds at the beginning of the Fall 2019 semester.  Awardees will be announced on or before Monday, April 22, 2019 (Earth Day).

Project Requirements
Projects should be of direct benefit to the UA Little Rock campus community, and recipients must share project results with the UA Little Rock campus community. The method of project presentation can vary (e.g. demonstration at Earth Day, public lecture, presentation at Research Expo, etc.), but must be completed by May 2020.
