William Marshall: Over the past 30 years my personal teaching mission has been to ignite the power of creativity. I have been fortunate the academy has provided me a long career to develop and practice my aesthetic principles while designing over 100 productions. Being a tenured member of a dignified democracy afforded me the intellectual and artistic opportunity to comment about our world. As I prepare to retire at the end of this academic year, I would like to thank UA Little Rock for all the opportunities given me as a member of the faculty in the Theatre Arts and Dance Department. It has been a great pleasure making with and learning from all my colleagues over the past thirty years. Teaching Experience: UA Little Rock, Kenyon College, and Swarthmore College. Education: BFA from the University Of Florida in design and technology, MFA in Scenography from Virginia Tech. Awards and Honours include The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival nomination for excellence in Scenic Design, 1988 Regional IV for Romeo and Juliet.
