Specializes in lighting design, lighting installation, and stage management. Prior to joining UA Little Rock as the Lighting Director in the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, she was an Assistant Lighting Designer at the Washington National Opera in Washington, DC. Her own lighting designs include: Arms and the Man (University of Central Arkansas); The Barber of Seville, La Boheme, The Magic Flute (Opera in the Rock); Bodyworks 2015-2018, Dance Harvest 2012-2017, The All Night Strut!, boom (UA Little Rock), Much Ado About Nothing (Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre); Madama Butterfly (Palm Beach Opera), Dream of the Pacific (Washington National Opera), and numerous operatic concerts and other theatrical events. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and an MFA in Lighting Design from Indiana University. She is also on the leadership board for the Little Rock chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society.
