Employees may submit more than one nominee (one in each of the seven categories listed above) but may only submit ONE NOMINEE PER CATEGORY.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"accordion-heading\"><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"toggle accordion-trigger\" aria-controls=\"The-Selection-Process-Content\" id=\"The-Selection-Process\">The Selection Process<span class=\"toggle-icon\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"The-Selection-Process-Content\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"The-Selection-Process-Content\" class=\"accordion-panel\" hidden=\"\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Awards Committee is comprised of 3 to 5 respected senior UA Little Rock staff members who work outside the VCFA division. A list of committee members will be released at a later date.<\/li>\n<li>Committee members will review the eligible nominees and select those whose service to the campus community is deemed most deserving of the award in the category they were nominated.<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a tie vote, our Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, Jerry Ganz, will review the nominees and cast a tie-breaking vote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-awards-will-be-presented-for-the-following-categories\">Awards Will Be Presented For the Following Categories:<\/h2>\n\n\n<div id=\"accordionGroup\" class=\"accordion\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"accordion-heading\"><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"toggle accordion-trigger\" aria-controls=\"Excellence-in-Customer-Service-Content\" id=\"Excellence-in-Customer-Service\">Excellence in Customer Service<span class=\"toggle-icon\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"Excellence-in-Customer-Service-Content\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"Excellence-in-Customer-Service-Content\" class=\"accordion-panel\" hidden=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>A person who excels in customer service is someone who establishes and maintains positive and effective working relationships with fellow staff, faculty, students, and internal\/external customers in some of the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates excellence in resolving conflicts and\/or when facing challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently and substantially demonstrates an ability and willingness to work positively, respectfully, and effectively with others.<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated to improving customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations and reacting appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Extremely conscientious in ensuring customers receive the guidance and answers they need in a timely and courteous manner.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously exceeds expectations when providing assistance to customers.<\/li>\n<li>Displays initiative and resourcefulness when troubleshooting problems and\/or complaints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"accordion-heading\"><button type=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"toggle accordion-trigger\" aria-controls=\"Terry-Bobo-Award-for-Excellence-in-Operational-Efficiency--Content\" id=\"Terry-Bobo-Award-for-Excellence-in-Operational-Efficiency-\">Terry Bobo Award for Excellence in Operational Efficiency <span class=\"toggle-icon\"><\/span><\/button><\/div><div id=\"Terry-Bobo-Award-for-Excellence-in-Operational-Efficiency--Content\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"Terry-Bobo-Award-for-Excellence-in-Operational-Efficiency--Content\" class=\"accordion-panel\" hidden=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>This includes contributions that make a measurable impact on the work environment.
