Learn from your colleagues’ experiences (the good, the bad, and the ugly) with polysynchronous instruction and/or hybrid teaching. What makes a polysynchronous class (with students meeting in person or synchronously via Zoom/Collaborate/Google Meet) effective? What works best in a hybrid course (with students attending some class sessions in person, and completing the rest of the course online)? There will be time for all participants to share and discuss ideas during the event.
All faculty are encouraged and invited to attend. This event will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award.
Please, RSVP by filling in this online form. If you want a boxed lunch, RSVP by noon on Friday, October 15th so we can place our Sodexo order on time.
You can join us in person at the Ottenheimer Library 535 or via Zoom:
- In-person attendance is limited to 20 people to ensure everyone’s safety.
- Virtual attendance will require a Zoom passcode, which you will receive after you RSVP.
