This is a student-run move-out donation program, called Eco-We-Go. This organization was created as a means to deter the unnecessary waste produced by students during move-out season. On average each student living on campus produces 640 pounds of waste per year. The goal is to minimize this number and donate these reusable goods to Our House, an organization that routinely gives back to the community. We received all of the necessary approval for this project.
There are donation bins located in both East and West Residential Halls for those residents to donate. For North and South bins have been set up in the University Commons. Not only that but we want to encourage the entire campus to donate, bins have been set up in the Donaghey Student Center for the UA Little Rock community to donate.
