FAFSA in Fifteen Minutes

TRIO Educational Opportunity Center and Talent Search will be hosting 2 workshops where our education specialists will be available to assist anyone with completing their FAFSAs for the 2022-2023 school year. Seeing as the FAFSA is a very important part of the financial aid process, and since the sooner the FAFSA is submitted the more money is available from schools, we urge everyone to complete it before the end of 2021. For this upcoming year, the Pell Grant award is up to $6,495.
The FAFSA in Fifteen Minutes events will be held on:
Thursday, December 9th at 5:30-7:00pm
Saturday, December 11th at 12:00-3pm
On Thursday night we will be offering free catered dinner for participants and on Saturday afternoon we will have free lunch. Our financial aid services are always free.
We are both eager and open to assisting any adult and senior, even if they are not affiliated with UA – Little Rock. However, we only serve Arkansans from Lonoke, Saline, and Pulaski counties. Our target demographic is low-income and first-generation students.
The FAFSA can be an overwhelming process. Our education specialists can help make it quicker and simpler. This is a drop-in event, open to all, the goal being to raise the financial aid application rates of Arkansans.
