In addition to our fitness classes, it’s time for Fit/Well’s walking challenge, Step Into Spring – The State Park Trail Tour. For this challenge, the goal will be to achieve enough steps per day by (individually) walking a sample of trails in Arkansas State Parks from around the state. This 6-week program is designed to help you get your daily activity in and maintain or improve your cardiovascular health. You will have goals matching specific trails each week, increasing as we travel through the program.
The program will start on Monday, March 20, and end on Sunday, April 30. Each week, you will receive a reminder to report your steps, along with information about the trail of the week and health tips. There will be prize drawings for the weekly reporting, culminating with a grand prize drawing at the end of the program. Additionally, the first 50 people to REPORT their steps will receive a microfiber mini-towel.
