Ottenheimer Library along with STaR and the Academy for Teaching and Learning (ATLE) have planned a series of virtual events for faculty, teaching assistants and graduate students in recognition of Open Education Week March 1-5.

OE-AR: Online Conference

OE-Arkansas is a statewide gathering of OER supporters, practitioners, and administrators interested in advancing open education initiatives at Arkansas Colleges and Universities. This free online conference is hosted by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the University of Arkansas.  Register for OE-ARkansas.

Open Education refers to “resources, tools and practices that are free of legal, financial and technical barriers and can be fully used, shared and adapted in the digital environment. Open Education maximizes the power of the Internet to make education more affordable, accessible and effective.” Open Education Week was designed to raise awareness of Open Education and provide a platform for educators worldwide to share their achievements and best practices.
