Reference Assistance – Students

The Reference Desk should be your first stop if you have questions about using items in the library. Usually, it is staffed with librarians and upper-level student assistants who are familiar with the types of questions in your assignments.  We are limiting in-person interactions and operations to promote social distancing practices due to the ongoing concerns of COVID-19.

Please call the Circulation Desk at 501-916-5453 for reference assistance or use this form:

Reference Request

Hours vary by semester, but when classes are in session reference assistance is available in the evenings and on the weekends.

Appointment with a Librarian

Sometimes a quick chat won’t answer your questions. If you need assistance developing a research strategy, narrowing your sources, or finding the best research, it may be helpful to make an appointment with a librarian. During your appointment, you can discuss your research project in detail.
