Congratulations on your transition to UALR. At UALR, we know you have lots of questions about continuing your education here. Together you and your advisor will develop a plan of action for your degree.
We will help you have a seamless transition as we work together toward your future. The first step is to apply for admission!
How Do I Transfer?
It may seem overwhelming to think about changing colleges or universities. It’s easier than you think. Use this checklist to help you answer your transfer questions.
- Freshman Transfers
- Previously attended at another instituition and transferring 12 semester hours or less. Please review admissions standards. Required documentation includes:

- Final High School Transcript with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (Undergraduate Freshmen Transfer only)
- ACT/SAT scores taken within the last 5 years with an ACT composite score of at least 21 or equivalent SAT score of 990
- Immunization records (2 rounds of Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccination)
- Official transcripts from each institution attended
- Transfers
- Previously attended another institution and transferring more than 12 hours. Required documentation includes:
