Community, Careers, and Extended Education (CCEE) promotes experiential and career learning to improve the lives of UA Little Rock students and the social, economic, and cultural capital of the community.  We facilitate outreach between campus and community partners, promote experiential learning to increase student engagement, learning and retention, and enhance collaborative faculty and student research.

CCEE is responsible for a number of programs and partnerships which aid UA Little Rock students, the communities and neighborhoods surrounding the university, and families in the Little Rock area. These include:

UA Little Rock Career Center – The go-to campus resource for internships, co-operatives, and other experiences designed to help students prepare for starting their careers after graduation.

University District Partnership – A unique collaboration between UA Little Rock, the city of Little Rock, and various neighborhood associations for sharing resources and improving the communities surrounding the university.

Children International – Children International is a worldwide nonprofit dedicated to ending poverty and mentoring children, and the Little Rock branch of CI is the only office located in the United States.

UA Little Rock is classified as a community engaged institution by the  Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
