UA Little Rock Rock was reaffirmed for accreditation in 2020 on the Open Pathway by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). HLC is a institutional accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

During the 2019-20 academic year, UA Little Rock completed the Open Pathway that included a Quality Initiative Project, compiling information and feedback from every sector of the university community, a Comprehensive Evaluation and Site Visit. The process resulted in a reaffirmation on a 10-year cycle.

UA Little Rock will undergo a midpoint assurance review at the Open Pathway in 2023-2024.
