Requests for official academic transcripts can be requested online, in person, by fax, mail or email. All transcript requests with the exception of the online option require a signature of authorization. Online requests are made behind a secure log in. Transcripts are sent to Arkansas colleges and universities electronically. All other transcripts will be sent by the US Postal Service. We are unable to provide tracking information or an arrival date of your documents.
A $5 fee per transcript is required at the time of the request. Incomplete or requests without payment cannot be processed. Any obligations to the university must be met prior to your transcript request submission.
Please note: We are unable to send electronic transcripts to UAMS, Hendrix College, and South Arkansas College. Current and former William H. Bowen School of Law students should make transcript requests through the Law School.
All transcripts that are unclaimed and/or not picked within four months of the original request date will discarded. You will need to make a new request. No refunds will be given.
Official Online Requests
Current and previous students who have access to BOSS may request their official transcripts online by going through myUALR or BOSS directly. This will require your Net ID and Password or your User ID number and PIN, respectively.

Please note: When using the external college codes provided in BOSS,Â make sure that the address matches the one required by your recipient. Addresses can be edited to reflect your recipient(s) address.
Online transcript requests made through BOSS will print the next business day. Address corrections must be submittedÂ to the Office of Records and Registration by the end of the business day in which you have made your request(s). If the correction is not submitted before the transcript prints, you will be required to make a new transcript request.
If you choose to submit a paper request, the Office of Records and Registration requires at least three (3) business days from when the request and payment has been received for processing of your transcript request. Your request should be completely filled out for processing. A $5 fee per transcript is required. Payment or proof of payment (receipt number) must be submitted at time of the request. Incomplete or requests without payment cannot be processed.

The Hold for Current Semester Grades option on the transcript request allows a student submit a transcript request early, but not have the transcript mailed or processed until the end of the current semester or part of term when final grades are posted.
The Hold for Degree Notation option on the transcript request allows a student to submit a transcript request early, but not have the transcript mailed or processed until the awarding of your degree(s).
Please note. The Hold for Current Semester Grades option should not be used after the date grades are posted for the semester. This may result in your transcript being held until the end of the subsequent semester. This function is only applicable for currently enrolled students. High School Concurrent students will not be able to use this option.
Transcript requests that require a form to be included with the transcript for application services such as LSAC, AMCAS, PharmCAS, NursingCAS or other professional organizations should be submitted at the time of the request. Attachments not received at the time of request may result in an additional transcript fee.
Paying for a Transcript
Before requesting an official or unofficial transcript,Â you must have met any financial obligations to the university.Â If not met, your request will not be processed. Your $5 per transcript fee and any financial obligations can be paid to the Bursarâ€™s Office. If you are sending your signed request form by mail, please include your payment with the request. If you wish to fax or email your request, you will need to make your payment by phone to the Bursarâ€™s Office prior to sending your request.
Payments with check or money orders should be made to UALR. You will be provided with a receipt number if requesting over the phone. The receipt number must be written, legibly, in the top, right corner of your signed request form. The Bursar’s Office can be reached by phone at (501)569-8757.
Picking Up a Transcript
When requesting that your transcript be held for pick-up, please note the following:
- A photo ID is required at the time of pick up
- You may only pick up your transcript during normal business hours
- Individuals wanting a third party to pick up a transcript must:
- List authorized person(s) name in the appropriate field if ordering online
- Write authorized person(s) personâ€™s name, legibly, on your signed transcript request form before submission
- Make sure that the authorized person(s) picking up your request has a photo ID with them
Unofficial transcripts can be requested at the Office of Records and Registration in Student Services Center 218 or viewed online.
