The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is a statewide economic development program based at UA Little Rock.
Through its network of offices, ASBTDC works with all types of for-profit businesses, from home-based to high-tech. Clients receive one-to-one confidential consulting and cutting-edge market research at no charge, or they can expand their expertise by participating in low or no-cost events.
Unique among Arkansas economic development organizations, ASBTDC serves businesses from any county in Arkansas, in any industry sector, at any stage of business development.
ASBTDC is an accredited member of America’s SBDC, the national association of Small Business Development Centers. The national SBDC program has offices in all 50 states, American Samoa, the Pacific Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is funded in part though a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration through a partnership with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business, Health, and Human Services and other institutions of higher education.
