The Center for Student and Career Services in the College of Business, Health, and Human Services (CBHHS) is a resource center for all current and prospective students in the college. We assist students looking to maximize their college experience and support students experiencing difficulties. The Center focuses on academic advising, admissions assistance, and career guidance and job placement support for students in the CBHHS. Center staff can also provide academic coaching, counseling, assistance in major and career exploration, and connect students to campus and community resources. The staff of recruiters, educational counselors, and a social worker help students to successfully navigate the college and UA Little Rock on the path to graduation.

Mia Polk-Hampton, Student Support Specialist is located in the Center for Student and Career Services, RBUS 109C. She is available to help guide students through unexpected and challenging moments in their education. The Student Support Specialist does not provide academic advising but works closely with the student’s advisor when necessary.
