Congratulations on being admitted to UA Little Rock! We are so excited for you to start your journey as a Trojan.

Orientation is required for new students, and it is the best way to learn more about being a Trojan. During orientation, you will learn about where to study on campus, where to go for help both financially and academically, how to meet people, and so many other things to make your experience as a Trojan amazing.

New Student Orientation for 2026

To help ease your transition and make sure you get off to a strong start, we have two ways to get connected to campus:

  1. First, online orientation must be completed through Go2 Orientation. Access it by logging in with your UA Little Rock email address and password. If you have trouble, call 501-916-3000 or email [email protected].
  2. The second part of New Student Orientation is required to attend in person on the UA Little Rock campus.
  3. Pick the date that works best for you and get ready for an exciting start to your journey!

Academic Advising

Academic programs at UA Little Rock are grouped within three colleges. You will be advised in the advising center of one of the academic colleges.

Students will NOT be able to register for classes until:

  • They have completed their onboarding in Workday Student
  • They have met with their advisors, and the advising flags have been lifted from their account

**The advising hold will not be removed from your account until you have met with your academic advisor. Please visit https://ualr.edu/advising/ to locate your advisor and make an appointment before attempting to register for courses.**

If you are a visiting or non-degree seeking student, you do not have an advising hold and do not meet with an academic advisor

Before registering for classes, students will meet with their advisor. Reach out to your Academic College to set up an advising appointment.

International Student Services
