Department of Accounting
The undergraduate program in Accounting at UALR provides the background needed for entry-level positions in the work place and/or advanced study in the field of accountancy.
Through an accounting concentration on the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, individuals may enhance their professional credentials via advanced, graduate-level training.
By careful selection of courses and satisfactory academic performance, individuals may seek to qualify for and be successful on certifying examinations leading to such professional designations as Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), etc.
