If you have already earned your college degree, you can still earn an accounting degree as part of a post-baccalaureate education. An accounting degree will enable you to grow professionally. Our courses are offered both fully online and in person, which allows you to complete the degree on your own schedule.
The accounting program provides a high-quality, practice-orientated education that prepares you for professional careers in public accounting, finance, business, and government. Our accounting program fulfills the requirements to sit for professional certification exams, such as the CPA exam.
The course requirements depend on your educational background. Students with a business degree from an AACSB-accredited college must complete the 30 hours of upper-level accounting courses. Students without a degree from an AACSB-accredited college must also complete the Pre-Business and Professional Business core. Additionally, UA Little Rock requires a minimum of 30 hours completed as a UA Little Rock student (which is normally satisfied by the accounting courses) and completion of a course in U.S. History or U.S. Government as part of the student’s overall collegiate record.
