General Scholarships

Betty Kay and Charles E. Hathaway Endowed Scholarship*

Awarded to full-time or part-time (must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours) students enrolled in the second semester of the Information Technology minor or with a declared major in the College of Engineering and Information Technology. Applicants must have achieved junior status in a declared major with a cumulative GPA or 2.8 and must have demonstrated financial need.

Arkansas Academy of Computing Scholarship*
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in computer science or information science. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

IProv, LLC/Dean Good Scholarship*
Awarded to a full-time student majoring in computer science or a related field. Preference will be given to juniors or seniors. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered. Applicants must write at least 500 words explaining how he or she utilizes technology on a daily basis and describing his or her career plans for the next 5 years including how he or she will utilize computers in that career.

American Society of Professional Estimators Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Associated General Contractors Scholarship
Awarded to an Arkansas resident who is a full-time student with a declared major in Construction Management within the College of Engineering and Information Technology. Applicant must be a member of the student chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC). Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Financial need is a secondary consideration.

Bill Greenwood Construction Management Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in the Construction Management Program. Preference will be given to juniors and seniors. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Curtis Stout Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in the Construction Management Program. Preference will be given to employees or potential candidates for employment of  Curtis Stout Company. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Doug Mitchell Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a Construction Management major of sophomore level or above. Special consideration will be given to academic standing.

Elmer Barber – AGC Scholarship
Awarded to an Arkansas resident who is a full-time student with a declared major in Construction Management within the College of Engineering and Information Technology. Applicant must be a member of the student chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC). Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Financial need is a secondary consideration.

Home Builder’s Association of Greater Little Rock Fund
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in the Construction Management Program with interest in residential construction. Preference will be given to juniors and seniors. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Howard Williams Construction Management Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Financial need and academic accomplishment will be considered; along with dedication to the profession.

J.A. Riggs Tractor Company Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who has declared a major in Construction Management.

Jack Kinnaman Constructor Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management with preference given to an entering freshman or associate degree transfer student. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

Keith M. Thompson Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Construction Management. Financial need and academic accomplishment will be considered.

Kinco Constructors Superintendent Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Preference will be given to freshman students or associate degree transfer students. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

Kirk Davis – AGC Scholarship
Awarded to an Arkansas resident who is a full-time student with a declared major in Construction Management within the College of Engineering and Information Technology. The recipient must also be a member of the student chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC). The recipient must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Financial need is a secondary consideration.

Martin Borchert Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession. This scholarship is renewable, but the recipient must reapply annually.

May Construction Company Carl C. Gray, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management with preference given to juniors and seniors, and employees of May Construction Company. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

May Construction Company Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

National Association of Women in Construction
Awarded to a full-time or part-time sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Construction Management. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and an Arkansas resident. Financial need will be considered. Recipient will be required to attend (1) meeting of NAWIC- Little Rock Chapter 12 meeting.

Phyllis Kinnaman Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management with the intention of working within the construction industry. Preference will be given to students currently employed in construction. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

R.C. and Roberta Bullock Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students majoring in Construction Management with preference given to United States citizens at the freshman level. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered. The scholarship is renewable, but the recipient must reapply annually.

R.D. “Bob” Nabholz Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Preference will be given to students currently employed in the construction industry. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

State of Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered along with dedication to the profession.

Thomas Carl Ferris Construction Management Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Preference will be given to sophomore, junior, or senior level single parents. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Construction Management. Preference will be given to students currently employed in the construction industry. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Awarded to a student in the Department of Engineering Technology who demonstrates academic excellence, student leadership, and financial need.

Charles E. Deitz ELA Scholarship
Awarded to sophomore, junior, or senior students majoring in engineering technology or a related electrical field with a 3.0 GPA.

Engineering Technology Scholarship
Awarded as incentive scholarships for one semester. Applicants must be enrolled full-time or in six or more hours in the semester they receive the scholarship and must be majoring in one of the Engineering Technology majors. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

LM Wind Power Scholarship

Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in a field within the Engineering Technology Department. The selection will be based on academic accomplishments with consideration being given to financial need.

Timex Corporation Scholarship
Awarded as incentive scholarships for one semester. Applicants must be full-time in the semester they receive the scholarship and must be majoring in one of the Engineering Technology majors. Applications are ranked according to GPA level. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

Awarded to a full-time or part time student admitted to the Master of Science in Information Quality graduate program or Applied Science Ph.D Applied Information Quality emphasis area. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Flake-Wilkerson Information Quality Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student admitted to the Master of Science in Information Quality graduate program. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Infoglide Academic Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Information Science. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.

Awarded to a full-time or part-time student who has been admitted to either the MS or Ph.D program in Information Quality. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered. This scholarship is renewable; the recipient must re-apply annually.

3M EIT Scholarship
Awarded to full-time or part-time students majoring in Systems Engineering. Preference will be given to students returning to college following a break in their collegiate career and who demonstrate the ability to be successful System Engineers. Employees or family members of 3M employees are not eligible to receive this scholarship.

Joseph and Mary Kaufman Scholarship*
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Information Science, Systems Engineering, or minoring in Information Technology. Minors in Information Technology may receive the award only for the amount covering the tuition of the 18-hour minor. Academic accomplishment and/or financial need shall be taken into consideration. Joseph D. Phillips Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student majoring in Systems Engineering with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering.  The selection will be based on academic accomplishments with consideration being given to financial need.

Little Rock Engineers Club
Awarded to a full-time student pursing a degree in a EAC of ABET accredited engineering major. Applicant must have at least sophomore status in good academic standing. Financial need is considered.

Mano/Boaz Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time or part-time student in Systems Engineering with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering. Academic accomplishment and financial need will be strongly considered.
