Please check the Official UA Little Rock Inclement Weather Policy for campus wide information.
If the campus is closed, UA Little Rock Testing Services is also closed. You may reach recorded official information about campus closings at 501-916-3000, or you may check the UA Little Rock home page. Local radio or television stations will also be notified.
If you are registered for a national test (for example: ACT, LSAT, MPRE, or Praxis), you may call the national testing company for updates regarding which test centers are open or closed. Look on your admission ticket or the testing company’s website for contact information.
Safety comes first. Please don’t endanger yourself by driving in unsafe conditions, even if the campus is open.
If the weather is less than perfect but the campus is open, we will attempt to administer all scheduled tests. Again, please remember that the safety of both students and staff is far more important than any test administration. We reserve the right to cancel test administrations if road conditions are too dangerous for staff members to report to the office.
If you are registered for a national test (such as CLEP, HESI, MAT, etc.) we will reach out as soon as we get word that we won’t be open. Please keep an eye on your phone and email. If you’re uncomfortable traveling to us due to road conditions, please reach out as soon as possible so we can get you rescheduled.
For locally coordinated tests (departmental, accommodated, make-up, placement exams, etc.) that are cancelled, we will reach out to you (and/or your instructors) to coordinate a later testing date.
For licensure exams (Kryterion, Scantron, etc.) we will reach out to the appropriate company as soon as we know we will be closed. If you’re uncomfortable traveling, please reach out to the testing company you are taking the test with to reschedule. They will notify us of the change.
