Testing Services and Student Life Research

Inclement Weather Policy

Please check the Official UALR Inclement Weather Policy for campus wide information.

Generally speaking, if the campus is closed, UALR Testing Services is also closed. Check your local radio or television station for announcements. You may reach recorded information about campus closings at 501-569-3000, or you may check the UALR home page.

If you are registered for a national test (for example: ACT, LSAT, MPRE, or Praxis), you can also call the national testing company for updates about which test centers are open or closed. Look on your admission ticket or in your registration materials for contact information.

Safety comes first. Please don’t endanger yourself by driving in unsafe conditions, even if the campus is open.

If the weather is less than perfect but the campus is open, we will attempt to administer all scheduled tests. Again, please remember that the safety of both students and staff is far more important than any test administration. We reserve the right to cancel test administrations if road conditions are too dangerous for staff members to come to the office.

If you are registered for a national test (such as ACT, LSAT, MPRE, or Praxis) that is cancelled, the national test company will decide if a makeup date will be offered.

Information about inclement weather as it pertains to the ACT test.

For locally coordinated tests (MAT, CLEP, correspondence exams, etc.) that are cancelled, a decision on rescheduling will be made by the Director of UALR Testing Services.
