In order to protect individual liberty, the purposes of the Second Amendment Society are to advocate for laws that protect an individual’s right to keep and bear arms without infringement from the government, as expressed in the original intent of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution; and to educate the Bowen community and general public as to the intent, history, meaning of and what rights a person has under that amendment.
