Government Documents

History

The law library became a selective federal depository in 1978 under the provisions of Title 44 U.S.C. section 1916.  It is one of seven depository libraries for the 2nd Congressional District of Arkansas.

Borrowing Materials

Students, faculty, and attorneys may borrow government documents and remove them from the library.  Members of the general public may not remove documents from the library.

Accessing Materials

If you are not a Bowen student or faculty member and need to see online versions of government documents, the library has two computer stations for your use.  These computers are connected to a printer, and printing is $0.20 per page.

If the documents you need are printed rather than online, there are two copiers available. Copies are $0.10 per page.

Government documents may also be accessible through interlibrary loan.
