Rebecca Nugent graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with her bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education in 2011. She became the Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas at Monticello for 2 years during graduate school. She completed her master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University in 2013.
After completion of her master’s degree, she was named the Director of Student Programs and Activities at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. In this capacity she focused on student engagement, Greek Life, student leadership, orientation, and student programming. Ms. Nugent is a student advocate and a firm believer in that students who invest their time not only in the classroom but outside of the classroom achieve better student success becoming more productive citizens.
