Education K-12

Expect More: Dr. Jeremy Owoh

“I honestly do not believe that I would be currently a superintendent of schools if it wasn’t for the education experience that I received at UA Little Rock.”

The Master of Education in Education is designed for candidates with a bachelor’s degree who want to become a teacher but have not yet earned an initial teaching license. Earn your licensure in one of these content areas: art, music, foreign language, health sciences, and physical education; business education (grades 4-12); biology, chemistry, earth science, English, history, mathematics, physics, social studies, speech and speech/drama (grades 7-12). Our program will prepare you with the foundations and dispositions in research, problem-solving, reflective thinking, and technology for lifelong learning.

The Graduate Certificate in Education will help you explore a new profession, update your skills, and gain more credibility within your organization. In less than a year, you can gain the experience necessary to become a full-time educator while expanding your career pathways. Completion of the program will prepare you for teaching licensure in Arkansas.
