Applied Design

Applied Design offers a study of traditional craft practices, as well as contemporary trends, in the field of studio craft. Through research, technical exercises, finished projects, discussions, and critiques, students will practice the skill of concept development, design, craftsmanship and critical evaluation for utilitarian as well as sculptural works.
