Interpretation: ASL/English

Our Interpreter Education programs include second language learning, foundations in deafness, deaf-blindness, and deaf culture, beginning to advanced methods in interpretation, minor, and core requirements. Interpreters are professionals who function as linguistic and cultural mediators between individuals who are hearing and individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind, or hard of hearing. Interpreter education is accomplished through a learning model that is developmental, sequential and spiral within a task-analysis approach.
