Interpreters are professionals who function as linguistic and cultural mediators between individuals who are hearing and individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind, or hard of hearing.

Our Interpreter Education programs include second language learning, foundations in deafness, deaf-blindness, and deaf culture, beginning to advanced methods in interpretation, minor, and core requirements. Interpreter education is accomplished through a learning model that is developmental, sequential and spiral within a task-analysis approach.
